ok...this is somewhat interesting.... i was asking the guide what they call those protruding cement-like rocks and he said that it is a "buhay na bato"..... meaning it's alive.... why alive? they say it still grows..... 1 inch (or was it millimeter?) every 100 years.........

we were 6 in the group and we chose the communal bath room....... so we paid only 150 each....
the place is kind of old but it's clean.... if you choose the dorm type room (the one w/ 6 beds) w/ communal bath you might want to tell at the counter if you would need hot water..... the cost is 50/bucket..... you would need it!

Getting TO: we opted to do the manila-banaue-bontoc-sagada route for a side trip to banaue......

autobus leaves manila at 10pm and arrives at banaue at 7am.....
